Meet the AOA Family - Dr. Gina Dado, Paradise Valley OBGYN

How long have you been with Paradise Valley OBGYN? I’ve been with Paradise Valley OBGYN just over 15 years. Prior to coming here, I was born and raised in the western suburbs of Illinois.
Where did you attend medical school? Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, Maywood, IL.
Who are your family members? I’m married to Robert S. Dudek, MD (Anesthesiologist); and my children are Haley, almost 13 and Sydney, 11
Do you have any pets? We have Alex and Spencer (2 Golden Retrievers); Peanut, our 6 month old miniature long-haired Dachshund puppy; and Saraphina, our cat.
What instrument do you play? I played a little piano in grade school. Nowadays I like listening to Top 40 music.
What languages do you speak? English and a little Spanish
Do you have any hobbies? I enjoy fitness activities, like Pilates, hot yoga, hiking, and anything to do with being out in nature, and organic gardening. I am also a HUGE Arizona Cardinals football fan (as her photo with Larry Fitzgerald shows)! I am also a National Educator on umbilical cord stem cells and have an interest in natural and anti-aging medicine.
What’s your favorite movie? Titanic
What’s your favorite food?  Hee, hee…ice cream!
What do you do for fun? Get together with family and friends, travel. I love to go to new places. Europe, Fiji and Costa Rica are all on my bucket list.
What do you enjoy the most about your field of medicine? I get to do something new everyday...some deliveries, some office work, some surgeries, and take care of patients from young to old. It never is boring and I get to meet and talk with a variety of interesting people and constantly learn new techniques. 
Why did you go into OB/GYN? For the variety, the chance to always learn something new and to work with women from young to old.
