Maricopa OBGYN

Where did you attend medical school? University of Pittsburgh.

How long have you been in Arizona? Since 1997.

What do you enjoy the most about your field of medicine?

Working with women throughout their lifespans. I enjoy the full spectrum of care: from preventative care in the office to labor/delivery, to performing major surgery (such as hysterectomies).

Can you tell us a little about your family?

My husband and I have been together since we met in medical school in 1993. We moved to Arizona together 15 years ago and married in 1999. Twin daughters soon came (2001) followed by their baby sister (2003). Our most recent addition, our dog Tyson, joined us as a rescue in 2011.

Do you have any hobbies?

I exercise almost daily (running, mostly). I love being with my girls (lots of board games, card playing and “Mommy/Daughter” manicures). I do puzzles most nights to wind down (Sudoku, crosswords).

Camping and hiking with my family is our favorite relaxing vacation.

I enjoy travel and volunteer opportunities. I have twice worked for the Indian Health Service: Nome, Alaska and Tuba City, Arizona. Recent trips to New Zealand and Australia were a highlight!
